OUR LEADERSHIP
Dr. Victoria Hauwa Jatto (Founder and Principal Consultant)
Dr. Victoria Hauwa Jatto is the Founder and Principal Consultant at Intellect Plus Advisory, an economist and public policy expert whose career spans academic research, consulting and public service. She is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics at Nasarawa State University, Keffi, and a visiting lecturer and research facilitator at Eduardo Mondlane University, Mozambique, and the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. She holds a PhD in Economics from Nasarawa State University, an MSc in Political Economy from the University of Essex, and executive training in public policy from the University of Oxford. She has consulted for organisations including the United Nations and the African Development Bank.
Her public service includes membership of the Technical Working Group for Nigeria’s Medium-Term National Development Plan (2021–2025) and Nigeria Agenda 2050, the Governing Council of the Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research (NISER), and external consultancy to the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Policy Development and Analysis. She has presented research on public finance, inequality, health economics and regional integration at international forums including the African Economic Conference, the International Health Economics Association World Congress, and the International Institute of Public Finance.
